Yesterday a ruling was handed down which said that two women who are married cannot have there marriage recognised in Ireland because why?, This everyday people in this country are so progressive in many ways, why have the judicary given this signal that we the people are not. We had a referendem on divorce, why not have one on this constitutional right.?

Prejudice is existing in the judicial system because it is decided by a judge who is a person too and subject to discretion even when wrong.

Unfortunately this is one of the problems in our society, in that we have and get a lot of law and laws to comply with but have very little chance of getting any "JUSTICE" and tragically justice can be bought if you can afford to pay a top lawyer.
Most judicial systems are constructed to protect the establishment and most judges are members of an elitist class and do not have any experience of real peoples hopes and wishes - or care.
The whole judicial system should be overhauled and brought up to modern times.

I may be wrong, but I don't think it is written in as a constitutional right, additionally do Ireland have a full written consititution? Britain doesn't.

It's difficult for some to know where prejudice ends and moral standards begin? They're confused.
