And I'm not necessarily meaning where they come from but you can put it that way. I hope you know what I mean, lol. Tricky question

Paperersomniferum, I agree with you totally but unfortunatly for you I wasn't picking on people living in poverty. I am talking about other stereotypes as well.

But excellent point even with the rudeness : )

sterotypes really exist...but i guess the norm is like only 20% of ppl behaving like their strerotype...but that means we can across sterotypical types 1 out of every 5 times...and worse in cultures way ppl try so hard to fit it...like asians being nerds and blacks being great atheletes and music/dance/ ppl...things like that...everybody wants to just fit it...although we yearn to be unique we don't wanna stand out too much..know what i mean...Asians societies for one have a very strong conformist thingy going on untill the last couple of generations

Well since I have no idea what you are talking about but will assume, from the way that you have posed your question and for the fact that you have deemed it "tricky" and provide you my answer...

Don't most people act? No matter what their drama? Don't most people live the role they are given and fail to question it or use it to get beyond it's own possibilities? Most people confrom to their surroundings. No matter what they may be. Some are just luckier than most, some have it harder than some and the people who bi*tch the loudest about it are usually those that have it much MUCH better than most.

Some people (probably such as yourself) are just lucky enough to be born into better conditions, more educated, more money, better home life... whatever?

The problem with whatever stereotype? Is not how they make people act... The problem with them is that they usually set up the dividing lines between the classes. Everything always comes back to money in this world and even though some who do chose to remain in a state of ignorance rather than better themselves, most are just unfortunate drones and features of circumstance and society.

It is easy for those who are on the other side of choice to make such distinctions... When things come easier for you, it just makes it easier for you to look down your nose at everything that you can't understand.

At least those who embrace stereotypical behaviors as a choice, are taking something and making it a part of culture. There are usually only one or two in any situatuon who stand out and lead, the rest follow in dreams and hopes of becomming that which they look up to and live in the meantime as who and what they are and deal with the unfortunate circumstances of their situation.

So does it "annoy" me? Yeah sometimes... when it get's into my personal place and space. When it effects me and my family, when it changes my small piece of the world in any way. Yes... Otherwise. I honestly could give two craps what anyone else does or why. I am not a social creature and therefore, I do not have social concerns by design... That is my stereotype... I am a cold, self serving selfish beeatch!

Not really...I mean, stereotypes exist for a reason so when I see someone acting stereotypically, I think it's simply part of who they are inherently.
