IE has ClearType, and Windows also uses ClearType.
What is ClearType? ClearType is windows or IE7 antialaising text - by doing this, it smooths the edges of fonts, creating a clearer font.
to enable/disable ClearType in IE7:
tools --> internet options --> multimedia --> always use cleartype
to enable/disable ClearType in XP:
Right-click the desktop and select Properties.
Click the Appearance tab.
Click Effects.
Under Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts, select ClearType.
Click OK.
Click OK on the main dialog box.

That depends... If you're IE7 is as also as clear as your Desktops, Folder Etc. Names. Its definetly ClearType™ Technology. You can disable this by right clicking on your Dekstop. Selecting Properties. Clicking the Tab 'Appearance' Clicking the button 'Effects'.
Then you will see this 'Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts. Then select Standard. And then Apply. Then Re-select ClearType and Apply.

Your problem is you are using dreamweaver before you understand the CSS part.. Anyone who uses CSS should know not to use font tags (for example).. Dreamweaver inserts much unneccessary code into your code which can override your CSS and just simply cause problems. My suggestion, get rid of Dreamweaver (or frontpage, whatever you are using, etc.) and design your code using nothing but HomeSite+ or even notepad.. Your site isn't at all complex, so it shouldn't be too hard. It appears you attempted to atleast partially use CSS, so fix that and do the entire site with CSS instead of Dreamweaver, etc.

Internet Explorer 7 has Microsofts "Clear Type" technology built in.
However you can make "Clear Type" available to almost all applications by installing Microsofts Clear Type Powertoy, available at the link below.

Not sure what you mean by more clearer. If you need it bigger, go to >View > Text Size > Increase.

It isn't.
Additional:
Listen, it isn't.
It varies from machine to machine. On my machine it isn't. IE7 is full of security holes too from what I've heard - so basically if you want your browser to be as clear and as safe as Firefox, use Firefox.
