Tina obviously has no idea. The first thing you should do is ask him to define romantic and give a few examples. Because though men and women speak the same language we are using different dictionaries! lol! Ask your girlfriends as well because despite conventional thinking not all guys are the same.
However if he's defining "romance" as sex or sexual adventures or something that LEADs to sex and you are just looking for suggestions I'd suggest playing.
Dinners and lingerie are nice but they are cliche. And quite honestly if my woman has a burlap sack on I'm still going think she's sexy cuz I KNOW it's coming off! lol! With that said here are a few suggestions:
Role play: for example, both of you walk separately into a bar and pretend that you don't know each other and have him come in and rescue you from the guys that try to hit on you and buy you drinks.
Arrange a day of pampering. Go to a spa there are some that have saunas for couples, give massages, hair cuts, manicures lunch and photo sessions. caution after a whole day of pampering you'll want to sleep so plan a rest period before you assume you'll be partying like an animal.
Take a class together like dance, comedy, pottery or couples massage class. Something you can share together. It's all about exploration and learning something new.
Check out some live bands
If you are feeling a little more adventurous and naughty do something different like hit a swing club of visit a few swinger sites online to get the juices flowing. lavalife.com and swappernet.com are good ones. big-date.com is another.
Search for new techniques to please each other.
Buy a few adult toys to play with there's one you can hook up to a mp3 player check out ohmibod.com guys love watching a woman in the throes of ecstacy.
If it's truly romance he's looking for just make sure whatever you do it's something that it's easy to cut off from the rest of the world. You don't want to for example go to a strip bar then expect him to not look. Men are visual creatures.
Also don't make it too mushy. Unless it's a sexy mush. Guys aren't too keen on sharing feelings. It's a mood killer. The fact that you got dolled up to look good for us so we can show you off and smile thinking "yeah I hit that every night!" and you gushing nice things could be enough. Fortunately for you women men are very low maintenance! lol!
Be sexy, seductive and do something a little adventurous and you'll be golden.

Ask him what he wants and do your best to do it but only if he's doing the same for you! Remember he married you too. My next advice is detemine if he is talking about romance of or demanding you to only fulfill his fantasies and not your own because romance does not always have a karmasutra act. Does he call you through the day with loving words, bring you your favorite little trinkets, or do the dishes and clean the house for the day while you go shopping for shoes? Does he bring you breakfast in bed or plan evenings in restaurants other than mickey d's? If so, then girl do whatever he wants then clone him and sell the copies! Here's wishing you a marriage made in heaven.

One day, if you pack his lunch, slide a love note inside and give him a hint of just why you fell in love with and married him. Then P.S. him with a prelude of what he can expect when he gets home. 1 or 2 hours before he gets home, clean house--including, get rid of all pets and send the kids to grandmas for the evening. Order food from is favorite restaurant [or cook his favorite] Light a few candles in 2 or 3 rooms. Find some music that you remember falling in love to. When he comes home, be wearing that favorite outfit that he loves [if barely nothing at all] If not, buy yourself a cute little panty and bra set to wear under a cute robe [preferably in his favorite color] Tell him that you're all his for the evening and his wish is your command. I'm sure you can figure out the rest, right?

Romance is not just a thing you do, its kinda like a state of mind. Its setting the mood... little things that add up, like dimming the lights, candlelit dinners, cute flirtacious things said... big beautiful smiles... quick exciting getaways... flowing with the mood and the way things move around you... sometimes even setting your own flow for them to move with.
Whats the opposite of romantic (for perspective's sake)? Predictable... average and everyday... seeing reality laid bare... awkward...
If he wants you to be more romantic, he's probably wanting to spice things up between you two. Evenso, its not just all pressure on you. Its probably more to the point that he, himself, needs to be more romantic. Be understanding and do what you can while being yourself. Just don't stress about it... just keep things light and fun.

Romantic feelings are, by definition, spontaneous; they cannot be scheduled or programmed.
A happy couple do not make a romance.

Buy yourself some smoking hot lengerie, fredricks or victorias, wear them without his knowlege. Go out to dinner with him, then a short trip to a "gentleman's" club. Let him look (1 hr.), and tell him its almost time to go home . Give him a peek-a-boo of your new underwear, then on the way out the door, buy him a lap dance. YOU DRIVE HOME!!! He will worship the ground you walk on. I dont have to tell you the rest, do i??
