You must remember though that the people that are like you, are here.....Get my meaning? In other words, if you enjoy dancing and go to a dancehall would you be surprised to see others dancing?? Of course not.....so just know that if it's only one or two others answering that way that you are still quite unique because out of all the people that are similar here and like to gather here there are only very few LIKE YOU!! Yes, I so agree - and by the time it takes for you to come up with something funny again, it's already on the page too. Sometimes I think I'm going to be the first person to answer and I click submit and there's like 20 answers going on! I'm amazed at how fast people are on here.

I have a bad habit of sometimes being moved to comment on the last post in a thread. So I type a response, and mention 'the post above this', and invariably find when I submit it that some bugger has jumped in with another message above mine.

No need to really worry; if your answer really is the best and the asker is a really serious person, your answer will always prevail. Can you imagine some fair lady maths answerer has been able to score almost 1900 (yes, one thousand nine hundred) best answers since February, 2006? That's a feat worth emulating if you can!

Yeah I hate it when that happens!

Like you said, it makes you feel common and silly and kinda ridiculous too, doesn`t it?
And like you might be wasting your time...
And also guilty because I, for one, always needlessly worry that other readers might assume that I stole the previous "bastard"`s answer, know what I mean?

I hate when that happens. Or you wrote an answer and someone under you wrote the same thing, you get a thumbs down and the other person gets a thumbs up.

yeah I hate that. I've done it a couple of times because the stupid screen says 0 answers when there are really like 4 and it just didn't show. Don't you hate that too?
