Ciniful, the word for men hating is misandry. A misandrist is a male hater.

And you attacked me, that's what I'm talking about.

Confusing question ... first of all, no one should be 'attacked' for thinking anything. Now, if they decide to communicate those thoughts in an ignorant or bigoted manner, that's a different story altogether.

Secondly, what do you mean by the right to family life?

And lastly, you're confusing rights with privileges. No one has the 'right' to a family, or to a family life, or to any other thing that involves other people. Those are classified as privileges. They are quite different, and mean entirely different things.

Edit: I just browsed your other questions, and sense a strong misogynistic theme with you .. you have some misguided idea that men are being held down or discriminated against, when our culture and our history show quite different.

And I was right, judging by your other question, you don't seem to understand, or are unwilling to see, the difference between rights and privileges. You must earn privileges, and continue earning the luxury of having them, after they are granted. Rights are something you have automatically and do not have to earn.... they are owed to you. Privilege means you are owed nothing, and you are expected to abide certain written or unwritten rules in order to keep them. Family life included.

Edit to answer additional comments: I'm well aware of the word for men hating .... I said your comments had a misogynistic theme .. meaning women hating. I would have thought that would be clear.

And if you consider my post an attack on you, then you are far too sensitive, since there was no personal attack involved. I gave you an answer. What part was an attack? Pointing out that you don't seem to understand the difference between rights and privileges? Pointing out that your questions had a misogynistic theme? Asking you to speficy what you meant by a particular term? None of those are attacks, nor have anything to do with your person or character.

For the record, my line about "if they choose to communicate those in an ignorant manner" was a general response, not an attack on you. I don't know you, nor had I seen any post of yours before this one, so I have no previous idea of how you conduct yourself or how you communicate your thoughts.

Seriously, if you're that sensitive to answers you don't approve of, you shouldn't be on this site.

No one should be attacked for their ideas as long as their ideas will not contribute harm to others. Besides, it should be the ideas that are attacked, not the people.
