Your RAM upgradation is based mainly on your motherboard configuration.

since u say that you have PIII 930 GHz, we assume that ur motherboard supports upto 512 MB of RAM.

depends on your mother board... check it out... if you do have a vacant slot.. so you can.. if non sell your 256 and buy 512.. remember when buying if its compatible to your mother board

Friend if the it mother board have one slot of memory empty...you can put the memory
