In the Science & Mathematics section...probably around 40%. Then there are about 54% who just want the answers handed to them on a plate, and maybe 6% actually want help so they understand the subject better.
Of the 54%, 42% try and post their entire assignment in one question (saves yahoo points, see!), a further 47% end up posting 10 or more questions, then never coming back to yahoo again. Until next homework.
Note: these figures may not be entirely accurate.

I typically tell such askers to do their personal artwork. in elementary words on uncommon activities will I provide solutions, and then frequently i am going to also element them interior the right route only so as that they could do extra study. i'm enhancing this because of a few thing that only got here about. I now say that you could provide solutions to homework questions. the reason I say this is because there replaced into an obvious homework question right here on solutions and that i informed the asker that in the journey that they used any of the solutions they could be to blame of plagerism. The question replaced into deleted with techniques from yahoo and that i replaced into curiously in violation of the community rules, so except you opt for to get docked 12 factors, and be placed in violation of yahooanswers community rules you had perfect answer the questions...

About a third?
For the record, I do my own homework, and mostly use Yahoo! Answers to ask questions regarding college admissions, and odd bits and ends I couldn't ask my friends.

Very few!
Or they wouldn't be on here instead of using a place called a library - and things called books - or other info sites!
But, I enjoy answering!

It doesnt help them. Folks like me deliberately give answers that are believable but wrong. I hope they flunk because then there'll always be a good supply of folks to wash my car for me.

If students did their own homework, they wouldn't have to use Yahoo!Answers
