Hmmm, probably not, common birds such as pigeons and crows are widely despised. Tropical and exotic birds become trophies and pets, life in a small cage is not worth it, plus think about being bugged constantly by the owner. Beautiful birds, such as doves, are breed and used for ceremonies, weddings, graduations, etc. Any other bird would probably be up for game, hmmm bullets are not very tasty. I really don't see any care free or happiness being a bird, that is unless you are a bird classifed as upon the verge of extinction, then you get some special treatment. But then again, you would become a lab rat for scientists to poke and prod things at you so that this speicies will not be extinct. No thank you.

Nah! I'm pretty happy and carefree, just like I am. Plus I wouldn't have arms to hug with, nor lips, nor hands, etc... You get the point, right? That's a good offer but I would miss being human and loved.

Since beginingless time, as a Buddhist, I have been reborn many times as birds.

Birds are not carefree and happy. They are often cold, and they search most of the day for enough food. They also have many predators. The gift of flight is a poor compensation for all of this, I assure you.

If your God gives you this choice, I suggest you politely and respectfully decline.

No The life of birds are not as easy as u described They have to face all weather , predators, search for food , keep on migrating, & many more . I would only life to have their wings to avoid road traffic & time wastage .Other wise I am better this way. Completely protected

I like being human- I've never thought of a bird as happy, maybe that's why. Maybe someone will shoot me down and have me for dinner.
