What was I supposed to tell my 3 young boys about fair play and sports violence when the player I spoke about all through the finals a one of the best did what you did ?
Why the hell did you ruin my memory of you and your talent in the final ?
I was sorry when you left Juve but after the WC final I am glad you have left the sport. If I wish to relive the past I can safely watch videos of you on youtube without the violence.

Thank u for ur outstanding performance in the worldcup, u really showed us what u can do with the ball, and with regards to the incident with materazzi, if i where u i would have done exactly the same,he deseved it becuz he disrespected u.. ur a legend and it hurts to see a footballing legend like u retire, Thank u for sharing ur talent with the world, thank u for everything u contributed to football, u will always be in our hearts and minds, ur a legend and a historic footballer, and i hope from my heart that u will win the player of the year award, cuz no one deserves it more than u.....
