By area, Russia, which covers ruogh;y 6,600,700, if I remember correctly, square miles and is one of two countries to cover area on multiple continents (Europe, where the capital, Moscow, is located, and Asia, where the bulk of its area is.) By population, it's China, with about 1,300,630,000 people.
