Absolutely not. I have seen fast food in hospital cafeterias though; and I thing it is such hypocrisy. If the medical field is going to promote good nutrition they should certainly be an example.

I do feel like the food in a hospital should be of good quality and good quantity, and it usually is fast because it is buffet style. I have eaten very inexpensively and quickly at hospital cafeterias and really enjoyed it.
The service is fast and the fats are eliminated as much as possible. It can be very bland tasting because the hospitals cannot use a lot of spice due to the medical differences through out the hospital patients.

Our local Hospital has a Subway inside, I suppose that's OK. I couldn't imagine seeing a McDonald's or a Burger King in a Hospital though, that just wouldn't seem right. Could you imagine walking into the Hospital "Um sir X-ray is just down the hall right across from the large golden arches" ha ha

No they aren't. Hospital food is healthy food, fast food isn't. Some hospitals have really bad food, but there are some that serve very delicious and nutricious food.

Definitely not. Last time i was in the hospital they brought me biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. This was after stomach surgery! I was horrified. Hospitals should at least make an effort to serve healthy food!

Yes, have you ever had to wait in line at a hospital cafeteria for a grilled cheese sammich? It takes them forever to put a slice cheese betwixt 2 breads slabs & fry it for 30 seconds on each side. (Heaven help you if you want fries too). At the hospital make mine a double whopper with cheese, a biggie fries, and a triple thick shake --- ready in 1 minute or less.

I have been in the hospital and would have cut off a arm for a cheeseburger. So I guess in that lite, yep. But since they want to be all about the health the answer would have to be no.
