I got this elizabeth arden perfume as a gift and along with is a makeup kit with eyeshadows/3lipstick/liners etc... Ihave never used E.arden's products before. Anyone has any ratings or reviews for the perfume and cosmetics ? are they keepers or should I return and get estelauder ?

I only have knowledge of her makeup prodcuts. I know exactly the kit that you're talking about and personally I would return it. Elizabeth Arden's products seem to be marketed to an older crowd and her colors are really boring. The product itself is pretty good quality but it depends on your preference. The makeup kits are for Christmas, I'm pretty sure, so you should make a decision soon.

I have some Elizabeth Arden products. I figured I'd try them when they were offering a purchase with purchase. It's not the same set you got though.
Anyway, I'm not all that crazy about the lipsticks. I don't like the textures and the color seems to go on unevenly. I really like the mascara, lip liner and eye liner. The blushes seem to go on darker than I think they should. Eyeshadows seem comparable to other brands. The lip glosses are beautiful colors that go on well. But they're the type to get a bit tacky after a while. All in all, it was worth the money I spent, and now I know which products I like and which ones I don't.

I think Elizabeth Arden's Red Door fragrance is nice and classy!
I used to use this one a long time ago and I actually finished an entire bottle (this is a miracle for a fragrance fanatic like myself!)

Iv never tried any of the cosmetics, but iv tried most of her perfumes.
Green tea - It has a crispness that really stands out. It is not overpowering, but has an edge - perhaps it is the rhubarb note that gives it that sharpness. Definitely smells like tea and citrus, and has nice grassy green-ness and soft floral tones underpinning it. Smells fresh and bright and I think of spring and summer when I smell it. It's not like the warm, sexy orientals I normally gravitate to - but in a fragrance world that is overrun with safe "clean" watery scents, this still seems quite original and different from the pack. Definitely try this if you are looking for something different to cool you in the summer.
5th Avenu - This is a fresh floral that reminds me of Hugo Boss "Woman". It smells ok on other ladies - very feminine with lilac, magnolia, linden blossom and muguet, but on me it smells like soap. Toilet soap. I do not detect any magnolia whatsoever when sprayed on me. This one's not for me unfortunately - it does not work well with my body chemistry - I ruin the fragrance
Sunflowers - As a teenager, I wore this one to death, to the point that I now feel a bit nauseated when I smell it. It wouldn't be fair to give this a bad review because of my own personal biases; after all, this is a reasonably pleasant light fruity floral with strong marine notes (the type of scent which was all the rage circa 1994). Still, even if I hadn't worn this frequently as a 17-year-old, it's not quite my style anymore. Too teenagie?
Provocative women - I first smelled this on a paper, and it was sharp and irritating on me, it was much the same. Harsh and cheap-smelling; it made me sick to my stomach after a bit, so much that I had to rub my wrists with alcohol to try to get rid of it. With the bottling (the package and bottle is very nice), I expected something in the oriental family, not a nauseating fruit mess. It's not even that it's fruity - I enjoy Magnetism and Amor Amor, both of which are fruity - it's that the fruit is so sharp and citrus; there's nothing to balance it out into a smooth scent.
I'd go with GREEN TEA for sure its one of my fave perfumes!

i have a perfume of E adren and think its pretty good, also the cosmetics are good, its only when you come to skincare that you have to be really choosy to rightly suit your skin type but the cosmetics are fine, try using them to check for any allergies or irritation, if not then , brand wise they are good and a keeper. hope that was of help.
