When you get home do you rush to the loo? the games console? the fridge? to kiss your children? to kiss your parents? or maybe the tv?

Take shoes off, put keys down, go to the loo. Have a drink. Switch tree lights on.

I empty my pockets of change, rid myself of all the accessories on my person that i need to survive the day, take off my shoes (they're not accessory, by the way), turn on the heat, put on the kettle and lapse in to the armchair for enough time to sigh and close my eyes. Then i open them, jump up and think of something to do. I love coming home.

Make sure my car keys are back in my bag, so I don't have to spend time looking for them the next time I leave the house.
Feed the neigbor's cats who don't give a sh1t about me except for cat treats.
Unpack/stow groceries, change into a large tee shirt or robe and morph into a TV and puter potato.

No I don't kiss the t.v. as soon as I get home, or any other time. I do like it though. The first thing I do when I get home is put the bloody shopping away.

Get the little one out of the buggy and take her coat off, make a cup of tea and collapse in a chair for 5 min.

Scoop up my daughter, give her a big kiss and tell her how much I have missed her. She's only 22 months so she doesn't really care that I missed her but I tell her anyway!
