Squalene is a natural organic compound originally obtained for commercial purposes primarily from shark liver oil, though there are botanical sources as well, including rice bran, wheat germ, and olives. All higher organisms produce squalene, including humans. It is a hydrocarbon and a triterpene.
Recently it has become a trend for sharks to be hunted to process their livers for the purpose of making squalene health capsules. However, there is little clinical evidence to prove that, taken internally, squalene does anything to increase an individual's quality of life.
Some research suggests the following:
With over forty years of scientific research and development work conducted by several scientists around the world, many studies have shown that Shark Liver Oil stimulates the immune system by increasing the production of white blood cells (lymphocytes) to the normal level and encouraging growth of antibodies. If these liver oils are added to the diet the production of antibodies in the bone marrow is speeded up. In one European study, healthy volunteers were given these capsules. The following conclusions were noted by Henric Blomgren M.D.,Ph.D. Associate Professor in Oncology and Immunology:
Shark liver oil :-
increases the frequency of lymphocytes.
increases the number of lymphocytes.
induces increase of oxidative metabolism, and are likely to increase the capacity of the subject to rapidly react against infectious agents.

Squalene is the biochemical precursor to the whole family of steroids. Oxidation of one of the terminal double bonds of squalene yields 2,3-squalene oxide which undergoes enzyme-catalyzed cyclization to afford lanosterol, which is then elaborated into cholesterol and other steroids.
Squalene is a low density compound often stored in the bodies of cartilaginous fishes such as sharks, which lack a swim bladder and must therefore reduce their body density with fats and oils. Squalene, which is stored mainly in the shark's liver, is lighter than water with a specific gravity of 0.855.
Recently it has become a trend for sharks to be hunted to process their livers for the purpose of making squalene health capsules. However, there is little clinical evidence to prove that, taken internally, squalene does anything to increase an individual's quality of life.
Squalene is used in cosmetics as a natural, oil-free moisturizer. It also makes up 12% of sebum, a natural product expressed by human sebaceous glands to moisturize hair follicles.
Yes, it's good...

Squalene is a major component of human skin surface lipids (or oils). Squalene helps to keep our skin soft and healthy and its anti-oxidant capabilities help to protect from the harsh effects of the environment.

I too have researched this. Obviously, more than you have. I will be taking the vaccine. All you have done is give one side of your paranoid version of this drug. The benefits far outweigh the risks. Truth be known - you can get sick and die just from injecting your self with tap water. Every injection has inherent risks. H1N1 kills - Gulf War Syndrome does not.
