Your question blames Bush and Blair for ALL wars... Wars will stop when there are no longer any people left to fight... unfortunately!

Chinese Astrology 2007: The Year of the Fire Boar (Pig)

UNITED STATES
In 2007, the United States would encounter a series of major troubles involving conflict of interest among different political parties. The U.S. government would be in an inferior position in the beginning.

The Trigram that represents the luck of the U.S. in 2007 is Kun, this time with the third stroke changed from last year. Those familiar with I-Ching, or the Book of Changes, can tell the third stroke of a trigram represents danger. It implies internal struggle and conflicts which would surely happen to the U.S. On top of that, its trigram also shows the least compatible / desirable combination: a Kun trigram with hidden Shi and Bo trigrams. Shi represents warfare and confrontations. Bo means an erosion of territory or authority, leaving only the bare essentials.

As a democratic nation with an extensive territory, there are demonstrations (protests) in the U.S. every day.

Two key trends in the U.S. in 2007:
1. conflicts between different groups of its people and uneven distribution of resources/wealth have accumulated grievances.

They finally escalate to the point where its people have to take more violent approaches.

2. 'hidden' enemies of the U.S. would turn the country upside down with shady manipulations/actions.

GLOBAL
There are disputes everywhere, on every level. The people have their own fights and nature has its own designs on the earth.

Happy New Year!

Tenure of Bush and Blair would end in 2007. Hopefully, the world would be a better place to live in with no tyrant visible.
The Iraq fiasco would continue with the USA pulling out. Iraq is destroyed, in a way.

the time we have peace is a long way away, first get rid of all terrorists, second solve world hunger and homelessness, third find a source of energy that can be free, end discrimination and hatred, stop people from killing each other and committing crimes, these are just few things that have to be done before peace prevails in the world, the thing is bush, blair have nothing to do with what needs to be done, its ordinary people who will say enough is enough, but not in my lifetime or yours

How much peace is ideal? For instance is boxing OK if the competitors consent. I'd say so, I hope that's part of your idea of peace. If 95% of people make it through to reproductive age I reckon that's good- we're at 99% in Britain (link). I agree with you if you're saying that the rest of the world needs more peace, e.g. Iraq and some African countries. I have no solutions to offer though, it was bad there already and is currently worse under occupation.

Peace will never prevail while hate is in the hearts of nations, IE:my country is better than yours, my religion is better than yours, until people realise that we are all human and that we all bleed the same colour blood hate will prevail, no one nation is to blame for the spilling of blood , it is on the hands of all people who do not stand up and say " this has to stop" which will never happen.

That's a no-brainer. The day they put Both of Bush's daughters in uniform, stick a rifle in their hand and send them to Iraq, the war will end that afternoon.

There can never be peace in the world while the Palestinians are treated as slaves in their own country.
