In order to know how to leave a position impression you must first know how exactly the person you are talking to judges you. It was found that people judge other people in the first five seconds of the meeting and then use another five to ten minutes to make sure of their judgement.

I) using the first five seconds

1- firm handshake indicates confidence
2- give eye contact 80% of the time
3- simle
4- never cross your arms(shows that you are uncomfortable)
5- make your back straight (shows confidence too)
6- never cross your legs( shows that you are afriad)
7-never scratch your nose (shows that you are negativly evaluating somthing you heard or saw)
8- wear blue clothes (this will leave an unconcious impression to the intreviewer that you are loyal and honest)
9- never touch your ears ( this shows that you may have heard somthing that you dont like)
10- take a deep breath before going in, lack of oxyegn will make you stressed and so your voice tone will reflect that.

II) using the rest of the ten minutes

rapport building is one of the NLP (neuro linguistic programming) techniques that can make other people have feelings towards you that there is somthing common in between you. establishing rapport is making the other person feel that there is something common between you and him or feels that he knows you since a long period.

raport establishing steps:

* try to notice the posture of the person in front of you then make a move to be as close to it as possible just as in the first picture below
* now go and complete the move and take the same position as the other person as in picture two through picture three
* there is a great possibility that the person person will take a new move, just wait a few seconds and repeat the previous steps
* in addition to mimicking gestures you need to mimic the other person's voice tone ,tempo and even the stops he makes while talking
* after a few gestures try to take a different position yourself and if the other person mimicked you unconsciously then the rapport establishment were successful

doing all this will make you get the job even if you dont have qualifications :)
