Holy Moly! Same thing happened to me other morning....I found a metal piece (inside battery compartment) that was bent along-side the batteries...If you don't snap it off,--->take out the batteries,lift metal piece up,replace batteries and bend metal over top batteries and twist cap back on....Mine got really loud and REALLY strong..but was unpredictable hehe and would cut-out at the worst moments! Hope it works for you too : )
