Because we say we want the truth, but we can't handle the truth. Thats why I like to listen to small children, they give the brutal truth, not tact, no wishy washy blah, just the straight and piercing. It's refreshing....

Our sanity is often built upon many many layers of delusion. If we should be so unfortunate to discover any small particle of truth within ourselves, surely, it seems like madness by comparison.
Lying to ourselves is a very nice way of keeping ourselves sane. Only mad people have the courage to face a life of constant truth.

You have NO idea what you're talking about because I didn't know this was you. I'm talking about myself and my best friend. You actually bought into the assumption that he and I and another person were the same, and that just irritates me to no end. I don't care how you look at me, because I already know who I am and who these people are. YOU need to learn some things about life, and stop taking so many philosophy classes.

The truth is something that scares a lot of people, and we live in a society where it is often hidden and disguised as something else.Therefore, anybody that wants to speak it or even live it fully will feel different and odd doing it for they will be looked at as abnormal. Live yours no matter what! God knows, maybe they are crazy for believing their own lies!!!
