Hi Singapore,
Short answer to that is no they cannot. If it is an RW then yes.
However a DVD+R once written is permanent.

nope.unless its RW meaning rewriteable.if its only DVD+R.you can put in or delete anything.

no only if it is a DVD RW+/- can it be deleted and reformatted
