I don't really want to be away from my husband because I love him. However, I have wanted to be away from family many times. I used to fantasize about traveling the coast of Florida or California with my husband or actually by myself. I completely understand the feeling of just wanting to get away. What is life anyway you may ask yourself. Sometimes being alone is preferable because you feel safe - away from hurts and judgments and annoying members and then you can appreciate the beauty of nature or the strange comfort of solitude.

Yes, and the best way to make evryone happy is to make the effort and spend time alone in my room. Cooperate with your family that in a day, you want a few hours by yourself... to ease off the feelings and make you feel better....
Do something by yourself and find a great hobby to do...
That way, you wont hurt no one or be hurt...win, win situation...

Constantly I wish I were alone. The thought passes, and I realize I'm the one who wanted these kids in the first place.

No! When I am angry, sad, down, anxious, happy, worried, etc I want them to feel me and help me to carry on with life. I need them the most during these times or "snapshots" of my life.

When I was your age, most asuredly yes. Everyone needs time alone, time for themselves in families and relationships. We need time to absorb new information, sort things out, and come to conclusions without interference.

Being alone is a true treasure and doesn't happen very often for most people. So just cherish your moments alone and try to make the best of it, hun.
Good Luck. :-)
