I am proud to be an American because of our heritage and the people who are here. I am utterly ashamed of our leaders, and what some of the people here in America are doing to this country. My grandfather served in WWI and was wounded. My father served in WWII and was disabled. I served in Vietnam and was wounded twice. It's a sad state of affairs - but not just in the USA. Every country is having problems, and I fear it is destined to get worse. It's disheartening that the people of the world themselves don't work harder towards unity rather than dissension. I'm proud to be an American, and I would rather have Bush as president than either of the Clintons. At least Bush tries to do what is right and doesn't back down from a fight that should have been taken care of a long time ago. In case you haven't noticed, it isn't just the Canadians, but it's okay. We have one of the most envied nations in the world and we have a right to be proud.

I'm not American but you should be proud. All the best things come from America: music, spirituality, art and incredibly talented people. And (just my observation) American women seem to have the prettiest hair - I don't know why is that ... Tails Up, Americans, says this Dog, Kuru.

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! We have opportunities that others can't even dream of! It's nice to be somewhere that everyone else wants be at.

I suppose I am....but when other Americans start acting like idiots around here.....because believe me, I see a difference at certain times of day.....it makes me want to hide somewhere.....
