You are never too old to stop watching cartoons. Many adults now still watch them, and they are amusing. Watching them or not should be a personal preference.

Don't Ever Stop watching cartoons. There are some you only watch While watching the Kids, but an adult can watch cartoons and Not feel any shame about it. There are Cartoons specifically made for adults, and I'm not talking about porn either. Some funny and Some serious. I'm almost 40, I'm a supervisor at My job in a Law firm, and I still watch cartoons. Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Futurama, Inuyasha, The Simpsons. Watch'em all. Toons are ready made fun when you need it, and No one outgrows the need for that.

And NO ONE Outgrows Bugs Bunny or Tom And Jerry. No One.

Enjoy.

Uncle Mike.

Never! If you like it, watch it. The success of the Simpsons, Southpark, Adult Swim on Cartoon Network, anime, and movies like Finding Nemo and Shrek are testimony that cartoons are not constrained by age. Rather, it is the skill of the storyteller and the relevance of the story that intrigues or turns-off adult viewers. Cartoons are simply another form of instrument used to relay a story.

Obviously if you are 35 years old, and watching Bratz...you might not be able to relate!

Well, if you're interested in the impact of cartoons on children, I'd say you need to be dead to stop watching.

Personally, I stopped watching when I could no longer tolerate the inane garbage what was being used in plot, direction and animation.

I still love bits - some Scooby Doo, Akira, Laputa... all have elements worth watching even as an adult.

But really, if one is a parent, its important to watch just to see what is being put forth to one's children.

Why does age have to factor if one can watch cartoons or not? I've seen a lot of cartoons that were better than sitcoms.
