does anyone know that comedian, who overdosed, and he was in the 80's and 90's big with somewhat long hair? he screamed alot?

Sam Kinison, he always wore a beret and he was a preacher (i think) for sometime before he became a comedian.

Sounds like Sam Kinison. He didn't overdose, though. He certainly had some drug problems, but what killed him was a car crash.
By the way, Bobcat Goldthwait is still alive!
