the black culture of breakdancing, dee-jaying, skateboarding, graffiti, and the music in hip hop culture is called rap.

you are 100% right hip hop is a culture that evolved from rap music but blacks started out rap but it is multicultural now

not everything about a music genre revolves around its culture..in fact very little about music has to do with the image it projects its more about the sound

rap is usually short sharp and agressive with a basic beat where hip hop is driven by rythme and usually is build to suite more expansive vocals and musical themes

If you are talking about HH culture, then yes you can say that rap and r&b can be parts of it. Though, who gives a ****~!!
