Yes, they do. Pain is absolutely neccessary for survival.

In fact, scientists have even found mutant fruit flies that don't feel pain, and are using the information gained from genetic experiments on these flies to design painkilling drugs for humans

It has not been proven that insects feel any pain at all in the way that animals and humans do. They do not posess complex enough nervous systems and don't think that they do at all.

no insects do not feel pain, not like we do at any rate.

they will feel pain even the poor cocky who lays on its back kicking the next morning after you have sprayed it the night before
