It's absolute crap.
In fact, it is offensive to me, a Christian, that they would take it down.
I hope they dont forget to take the Happy Fourth of July decor down in the summer. After all, there might be some non-US citizens walking through the airport.
Thantos below gives a perfect example of the meaningless politically correct argument against Christmas. For instance, he advocates banning the 10 Commandments in court. Never mind that the 10 Commandments are on the wall of the Supreme Court but as far as the history of law is concerned, the 10 Commandments are as much an example of codified law (an important historical milestone) as they are a list of rules of a particular religion.
The PC-ers use the "separation of church and state" as justification for banning Christmas decor in public places. That is certainly not what the Founding Fathers intended. They wanted no state sponsored religion and etc. If people are so hysterical about banning Christmas decor and fearful of state sponsored religion, then they could better direct their anger to the Bush Administration and its "faith based initiatives." People interested in banning Xmas decors probably havent done that.
Finding Xmas decorations offensive is just unbelievably stupid. How can something like a Nativity scene be "offensive". I can see it being offensive to a Satanist but how can it be offensive to an average Joe. Is DaVinvi's The Last Supper "offensive" too? What they really mean to say is that they dont want to look at it. That isnt the definition of offensive.
Xmas is a national holiday in the US. Deal with it. That is not to say that everyone has to worship as a Christian just lighten up for pete's sake.
Mind you, I'm not trying to pick a fight here. Just trying to throw some cold water on this War on Xmas thing.

The preferrred courtroom has held that a Christmas tree isn't a non secular image, yet somewhat a mundane image. I have not have been given any concern with that determination, as a liberal. non secular lodging, such because of the fact the footbaths you seek advice from, have long been upheld by the courts. I even have not have been given any concern with life like non secular lodging. be careful the way you categorize human beings’s ideals. The ACLU, case in point, has fought for the rights of evangelical Christians to evangelise on the sidewalks of the Strip in Las Vegas. the guy rights being risk-free could analyzed in context. additionally the info of the Seattle airport controversy have been that a community rabbi wanted a Menorah additionally displayed and the reaction of the Seattle airport became to do away with the Christmas timber. That became in simple terms stupid.

That is part of the problem with the western world. Because they have lost touch with the meaning of things including freedom and secularity and also are so desperate in their match towards Godlessness, they get unnnecessarily jittery for nothing. What is there to offend anyone in a Christmas decor?

I'm not a christian and I found it disturbing to say the least. I have no problem with the government or it's agencies or even public buildings having christmas decorations, it's the religious icons that offend me.
Things to remember:
Christmas not a christian holiday
Valentines not a christian holiday
Easter not a christian holiday
Go ahead celebrate, decorate, enjoy; displays of those things are not offensive to me.
That which I find offensive:
In god we trust on our currency
crosses, crescents, menorahs, stars of David, angels, pictures of jesus, or any other religious iconography in public, governmental businesses
Displays of the 10 commandments at courthouses, schools and such.
Prayers by coaches before a sporting event
Prayers by others at sporting events
Prayers in public in general unless all the attendants are in agreement with regard to the prayer.

It was a ploy that packfired on the stupids, they wanted to leverage out the public feeling and it failed. They were nevver asked to take the stuff down, no had a problem with it in the first place. Others just wanted to add their own stuff for their holidays. I hope they fire all the admins at the airport.

Can't we all just get along. So share the space. I would be happy to see a eclectic display. Just don't punish those who go to the work to decorate with that defensive excuse. Soon we will have to hide all of our places of worship so they can't be seen from the street. Be a little difficult with Pantheism?

I wish the real names of the real people that made this decision would be publicly revealed. They are hiding behind their positions. You'd think the PC wimps would be proud to come out for their courageous stands, but I won't be holding my breath.

i think it is obserd that they are so skinless that they would remove a christmas tree rather than to defend it.
