In school or at your place do you like doing group work that involves writing a paper together or presentation?
I hate it, especially when there are unpleasant people in the group.
I want to do things myself.

Can be good/bad
Personally, like yourself, i prefer 'solo' mode
but sometimes, its part of the univeristy/school course/policy
and you have to obey it, you have no choice
group work can be fun too, when ideas are shared/brainstorm
i know how ya feel, in my past group work project, there are some unpleasant peeps in my group as well, but what can you do about it? :) smile

Group work is great. There are always something you can learn from others. from there, you get to learn communication skill, because in real workplace, you must work with people.
Of course, there are always free-riders or trouble makers, but this is life, you will learn how to deal with the situation, for those patterns of problems repeating so many times, you will feel nothing to it, and would see it in a normal way.
Only when you reach this level, you are qualified to be a leader.

I am currently going to school online and from my understanding some of the online school do require you to do group work..it is not a bad ideal, but if you are like me, I like to get my work done and keep moving...and that is the other thing you may have people in your group that can pull you down...so way it all out and see the pros and cons of it....go for what you KNOW!!!!!

Group work is great. Claim credit for the work of the other people and use them as scapegoats when things go wrong. Group work is best

well im not happy with it sometimes, i know how u r feeling rite now. i've been there. but the world right now works like that. and i also agree now that work group can produce even better result.
now u r probably thinking that u can do better on ur own, but if u r in a group, u can bring up matters to them and persuade them to do like ur thinking. and u'll need to be good to do that.
