the ankle is cute. maybe on a shoulder blade. dont put it on the lower back. those seem a bit slutty to me. in fact i heard they are referes to as the tramp stamp. however it is your choice. good luck

However, if you're lucky enough to find that perfect tattoo for you, it will..
* make you look good
* make people admire you for it
* make people come up to you and ask questions about it
* make you different and stand out from the crowd
* make you more confident because of all the above
* etc. etc...
....it will bring you satisfaction for the rest of your life!
So how do you find that perfect tattoo?
The secret is to browse through a lot of tattoo ideas before you settle on the one.
That's where the problem comes in..
I also have recent ones that I recently chose. But you know what? When I had my recent tattoos done I had such a hard time finding that one tattoo that I wanted..
I've spent countless of late nights and early hours searching for tattoo ideas online... most of the times quitting in frustration after having found nothing of value..
No wonder so many people are walking around with downright ugly tattoos!
"There must be a better way" I thought to myself..

Well, I'm not a guy and I'm not interested in whether or not they think tattoos on a woman are sexy. However, it's possible for a tattoo that you get anywhere that can not be easily covered by clothing to seriously affect your chances of employment for certain jobs sometime in the future. It would be a bad idea to get a tattoo that shows if you have ANY idea that you may be applying for any kind of job with any kind of even moderately conservative type of business in the future. Tattoos are OK if you want to work in record stores or bars for the rest of your life. But if you want to get a job in a business where presentation is important, don't let them show.

You are the only one that can answer that. A tattoo is a totally personal thing remember it is there for LIFE. Don't get it just to look good or show it off, everyone has one now days. Will you still want to show it off when your sixty? So make it mean something to yourself.

I have a Dragonfly on my lower back, just above my butt. It is the coolest place, cos with the new low cut jeans, it shows! Also, on the beach it displays beautifully. I want a black cat next, on the top of my boob just above the bra. Also a nice place for a Butterfly.
Plus, when you get older and don't want everyone to see that your butterfly has now become a Boeing 747, you can hide it without removing it!

is a butterfly special in some way to you? because tattoos of butterflys are really overdone. i have and love tattoos. i have a custom tattoo artist and love his work. check him out and see what you'd be missing with a butterfly.

I got a butterfly tattoo 3 years ago & didn't want it on the small of my back(seems that's where all females get them!), so I got mine on the top of my foot... It hurt, but it's different!!!

small of your back, its called a tramp stamp but I still think its the sexiest place for a female to have a tatt.
LOL, I wasnt sayin that girls that get them there are tramps, I was just sayin thats it's "nickname" if you will. Im sure youre a great gal and most likely a sexy gal, who would be even sexier if she had a tattoo on the small of her back:)

I know this sounds weird but I don't know a better way to put it...
The lowest part of your back, a few inches above the butt crack. That's were I have mine.

Think about this? Do you really want to have a tattoo 30 years down the road when your skin isnt firm and soft anymore? Think 50 years later......thats gross. But hey, do what you want to do, no pressure.
