They have an agenda and it is the rule of government over peoples individual liberties just to provide some sick notion that they know what God wants! The rest of us, to them, are clueless!
That is always the 1st things they use,, How many times have you heard them say, "If you don't like it move", "You must be a commie", "You hate the troops or you hate America!
Funny, never hear them mention the Constitution or the 802 Bush signing slips once!

Socialists such as Gorbachev have chosen to use the environment as their vehicle to push their agenda. Conservatives should be synonomous with Conservationists but the problem is that the environmentalism has been hijacked by socialism to a large extent. Policies meant to fix global warming such as a carbon tax will discourage and punish consumption of fossil fuels, not necessarily a completely bad thing, and in fact would welcome an increased gas tax if the taxes were reduced in other areas. I would only agree to that because third world oil rich countries have far too much influence and many are our enemies. My main problem is where that revenue is going to go to if they have a carbon tax and my skepticism that it simply will be an excuse to grow government.

Why is it if a conservative tries to speak at a college, Liberal students will not allow it? Isn't that Freedom of speech?
Who is suing half the country over religion? What happened to freedom of Religion? Is it supposed to kept hidden now? See any Christians suing Atheists? Hear any Conservatives throwing screaming fits at colleges and not letting Liberals speak?
Is it not Liberals like our favorite College professor from Colorado that hate America, and publicly say so over and over? While blaming the Government for 911 and saying the President should be hung?
Why is a cross so scary to the ACLU, but they protect groups like NAMBLA? Why can Muslim students pray at school but not Christians? Why can Jewish and Islamic Symbols be hung in public but not a nativity scene? Why are conservatives close minded? Get a grip partner, it is Liberals trying to take away freedom of speech, freedom of Religion, etc..etc..

It's just not that they are close minded, it gets them more votes to seem as such. By showing (whether or not true or not) that the country is going to hell in a handbasket it solidifys the position of rightwingers and brings their supporters to the polls. Why do you think that they are close minded, overly religious and believe everyone is immoral?

What drives ignorance is not taking responsibility and understanding your mistakes. When you refer to people who are right wing conservative republicans; you are referring to people that not only drink the Koolaid, they made it.
They blame other people because if they look at the situation logically they would have to admit it is their fault. They refuse to do that. Now the Republicans are blaming the American people for their poor decisions in Iraq. The Republicans are the true evil ones.

Good question. Now here's a couple of rhetorical question for you too.
Why do atheistic liberals assume that if you oppose "gay rights" it can only be because you hate gay people? Why do any liberals assume that if you oppose affirmative action it can only be because you hate racial minorities?

Who are "they" exactly? It is quite an assumption to say all Conservatives have such a perception about anything.
Are you are referring to President Bush's believes and statements? He certainly doesn't speak for all conservatives he is just one person. He is an extremist, and most people are more moderate in their thinking and don't share his ideas. To prevent opposition from becoming popular he labels anyone who disagrees with him an extremist. In doing so most people won't say anything against his his beliefs directly.
