Do you think you can tell me a way out of.........?

this situation?
Recently i got "transferred" in another office, and there is a woman with me here.It seems like she is so frustrated and everything seem to bother her?First she asks me to pump up the volume when there's a music on, then she asks me to change the music.She smokes and me too, but constanly tells me how much my father smokes cigarettes(he also works here) and everything she says annoys me.She is not fond of my father and keeps giving critics about him ironically..I'm very nervous, I've tried to ignore her, tried to explain her , but nothing helps, she is just the way she is.maybe she is jelaous because my father was one of the managers in this company.What should I do?I'm nice to her and my father is not someone who complains or offends others.Any advise?

My dad knows she is a nut case:) but says not to bother with her to do my work, that I should ignore her.But who can think i.e. work when nervous

Try to step out of the wayof this woman,she's obviously have envy issues.Don't be her smoke buddy.It will be a good thing to let your dad know about her .

Maybe ask to be trasferred back.
