You should do whatever you feel comfortable with. If you are afraid of standing out (I know I am), then you can wear black. But grad night should be special, and if you stand out everyone will be paying attention to you.

Surely, every single girl cannot be wearing black! Either way, graduation is a special occasion and you should wear whatever you want. If that happens to be a black dress, go for it, and if it isn't still go for it! It is YOUR special day, so choose the dress that looks the best on you, so you can look back in the coming years and say how good you looked!

If all of them are wearing black i think u'll feel unconfortable if u wear red or white, i think in a graduation u just have to be all the same... and then in a dinner or something else u can be different and special

I think that you should do what you feel is best. BUT if everyone one is wearing black, maybe you might not want to be different because it may look like you are trying to take the attention. Just a suggestion though. Good Luck!

You should be yourself...wear a black dress if you want to wear it not just to fit in. Don't try to be different just because you want to be the center of attention....have a valid reason. Clothes matter but not so much once you are out of school.

Yes, totally. Be bold, guys and girls will notice that you took a stand out in the crowd. Go with like a lilac purple, that way it's not too too different, but different enough to be noticed. Have fun!!!

Sure! Even though we were advised to wear dark colors (can't remember why though), I wore a dark blue dress to mine and loved it. To me, graduation is a happy time, save the black for other events. LOL :)

Do you DARE to be different? If you wear something different you will definitely stand out and this may be a good thing. I dare you to wear something different. Go ahead

YES go for it! The red idea is great. Winter white might also be nice.
