I really want to put a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core in but I'm not sure it will be supported. I've checked MSI's site and cannot find any info on this mainboard. Any help would be very appreciated. Right now I have a AMD Athlon 64 3200+ installed.

Ok, I want to upgrade because I run Adobe CS2 as well as games like Diablo 2. At time both programs drag and my cpu is at 100%. I have 1.5 GB ram installed as well as the GeForce 7600GS 512 MB video card. So I don't think that it is a memory problem, just a slower cpu. Which is why i am looking to upgrade.

Yes it will take an X2 Dual-Core, just make sure you get one that says socket 939 and not socket AM2, but yes it will work.

nicely all you need to do is verify that the processor you have is the comparable style by using fact the motherboard helps. if the motherboard helps socket 939 processors and thats what yours is, then you certainly must be wonderful. now if its an older motherboard with a extra moderen cpu that must be a project, even nonetheless it shouldnt be an argument for you here.
