Right now, the latest and greatest game systems are the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Handheld are PSP and Nintendo DS.
I would not ask which one is better. It's really about your preference. In the past, do you like MIcrosoft games, Sony games or Nintendo games. Let that be the true decision maker. There isn't any right or wrong choice.
If I had a spare $700, I would buy the PS3 because of it has a technical advantage over the 360. If I had a spare $500, I would buy the 360. If I had a spare $400, I would buy the Wii. Since I don't have that type of money, then I stick with downloading Xbox games.

I own a 360, a PSP, a PS2, an Xbox, a game cube, a few old school systems, I just bought a Wii for my family for Xmas(havent opened it cant wait for baby Jesus's b-day to unwrap the thing) and if Ive done my homework right im gunna say the system to have is the Wii, but i do luv my PSP as it is portable. Im a dad of 4 and being able to pick it up and play it on the fly is a great help. Dont get me wrong my 360 gives me sooo much fun but its hard to sit down and play sometimes. I really do think the Wii is gunna be the hot system of the bunch.
