Last week they pulled the plug on Google Answers, in which they actually allow people to be paid for correct answers to hard questions people posed.

it was a paid service. You had to pay to post a question 30 cents minimum) and the only official answers came from people who were certified experts. That way, you go a reliable answer, but if you only had a simple question, it wasn't worth it to ask it. and a common user couldn't do anything except "comment".

Yes, according to my knowledge you had to pay for getting your questions answered. It was not free service.

yes i am facing the same problem.......now a days google.com is not giving proper and accurate answers.......but answers.yahoo.com is best of the best.........
