Eye brows are gifted by nature to prevent eyes from sunlight, when sun is above ur head during afternoons.it doesnt avoid to that much extent ,but some what it creates shade for eyelashes and pupil .

I learned in my human anatomy class at UCLA that eyebrows exist to guard our eyes from the sweat that runs down the forehead.

Aside from function, eyebrows can make a person more attractive. They direct focus onto the eyes.

It keeps the sweat and rain out of your eyes. Without eyebrows, sweat would easily flow into the eyes and sting.

Some people shave them off. I don't believe that an eyebrow is for sweat anymore than I believe a mustache is for snot. I think it's just hair on the human body like any other hair on the body.
