No ,I don't like this idea .Sounds more like a plot from a Saturday morning cartoon. Not a very good one either.Immature idea. And yes I'm a big fan of science fiction.

Many science fiction plots sound dorky or immature when reduced to their summaries. Think "Farm boy becomes king and slays an evil god" sounds slightly unlikely? Read "The Belgariad" by David Eddings, it's actually pretty good. Just try fleshing out your idea and see if it's something that you, as a science fiction fan, would want to read.

Hmmm...sounds like a mix of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and Matrix....didn't seem very original to me.

sounds like it has potential. Write the book. It's all in how you write the story of the book. The most important thing, though, is to write, write, write and turn out the story.
