Unless you don't have many friends, don't quit it completely. Keep in contact with your buds! Just...don't talk to them more than absolutely necessary, that's all.

Yes I think you should. It's not a very safe site and if it's wasting your time I wouldn't. Years from now you will look back and wish you had spent more time on your homework than looking around myspace that has almost no value whatsoever compared to homework for school for a grade. But if quitting isn't good, limit your time...do your homework first then go on it.

It's fun to see what people are up to every now and then. Other than that, it is pretty much a terrible site. It is getting worse and worse as more ads are added to the site and the servers just can't hold up to the amount of spam and members that are created every day. It is becoming almost completely worthless due to the lag.
If you go on myspace instead of doing homework then just try to avoid that. Everyone has something that they do instead of doing their homework. Your thing is myspace. If you quit myspace you will do something else instead of homework. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you are getting your work done on time.

do you have an addictive personality? if so yes quit if not ,reward yourself with myspace,like I will go on for an 30 mins if I finish my homework in an hr ..or something like that.
My kid is a my space addict I monitor how much she is on and I will cut her connection until she is done with homework and chores ....
