Many of you obviously are not very technically savy are you? You guys might want to pay a little more attention to how the problem occured. If you are not familiar with a technical issue, you should keep quite so as not to show your stupidity!!!

Shel, what you suggested would work had it been say a cookie and bits under the keypads...I have done that...the cat walked on it, so it had to be a key that was locked! Thanks for suggesting it though.

b-overit, not a bad suggestion and you did mention it was just a way to get through...that would not have worked as the fn key when pressed on correctly fuctioning keys then yielded the right keys dead! But its fixed now anyway....I hate it when my own internal tech support is faster than others...nothing against you though, Thanks!

Funny will win everytime...but only because I fixed it!

288...I have tried bloody mary as a child and it worked....very disturbing and NO its not normal for a kitten to suck its tail! But hey at least you know the tip is clean.

try dusting the keys and make sure the kitty didnt drop anything between the keys if you can pop off the keys and shake the dirt out of the keyboard this looks annoying hope you fix the problem

Sounds like one of the keys got stuck. Just press all of the keys really hard so the stuck key will come back up.

buy a new keyboard.... they are $10 at walmart

I wasn't trying to be a smartass, I just didn't realize it was a laptop.... you could have said it was a laptop and I would've given you a different answer, which would've been - reboot the computer -... that would clear it up.
