The problem with most department store air hockey tables is that they're not as solid and heavy as most tables in bars, etc.

Same with arcade games.

If you want the "authentic" feel of an air hockey table, you need to spend the bucks and get one from a dealer.

Otherwise, yeah, it's a piece of junk...

it is a piece of junk. the air motor is weak and the legs come loose often after just 1 game and eventually bust and the puck flys off the table regularly.

I agree with them. Cheap usually air hockey tables don't have enough power to keep the puck properly airborne, so they play really "dead".
