Out of my cats - rescued an undesexed male and while waiting to get him in to be neutered, he sprayed all over my middle child's baby pictures! (no negatives, those pics are just destroyed!) But I still loved him even beyond when we lost him to cancer.
My dog has tore up in the screen to the backdoor in our brand new built less than 6 months ago home, chewed up 5 of my kids' toys (their fault), and chewed through my keyboard cord to the computer. Of course, she is a puppy and all of this is our fault for not watching her closely enough so no harm, no foul on her. She doesn't know better yet but she's getting there. (she's 13 weeks)

My dogs that I had at the time destroyed the gift I gave to my husband for our first wedding anniversery. It was a duck candle. Very well made and looked life-like.
Even destroying a couch could not compare to the heart-break of loosing that candle and what it represented for my husband and I.

i'd say the significant concern with having a puppy is that you're completely to blame for yet another living ingredient. hardship-free grievance comprise the scent and mess and clearly fee, ultimately behavioural problems with untrained or mistreated animals. those are the significant problems with both maximum hardship-free puppy animals - dogs and cats. Parasites which incorporates fleas and mites laying off fur over furnishings and clothing hypersensitive reactions may be terrible once you've one Scratching and chewing furnishings and carpets and so on Toileting at your position of living dogs aggressive and dominant behaviour Cats chasing and killing smaller animals fee - noticeably vets charges go back and forth - this is very nearly no longer conceivable to pass on vacation and also you ought to make preparations for his or her care and be prepared for them to be disenchanted and disturbed at the same time as your away. those issues note to many different species as well. some particular problems with different communities of animals comprise - Hamsters, rats and mice - short lived and very nearly no longer conceivable for a vet to take care of in the journey that they grow to be ill. Rabbits and guinea pigs have similar issues even with the truth that the significant grievance about those rodents is continually having to sparkling out cages and hutches. Birds, reptiles, fish and amphibians - are not fairly domesticated animals and so do not fairly bond with their proprietors. Parrot kin are conceivable exception to this. They require fantastically specialized enviroments and care and typically want to be fed stay nutrition. for sure regularly taking place care and training will cut back or get rid of those issues. All animal fanatics will inform you the advantages of living with those animals outweigh any of those issues.

We had our toy poodle knocked off an alabaster owl that was my grandmas. Same here, still loved her up until the day she died at 15 years. Still do love her.
