You could give her a certificate for a romantic date night planned with you for theater tickets, dinner out, maybe an evening at a nice hotel in your town.

Or you could simply create her personal coupons of things you know she would love one for a pedicure, one for a massage from you, one for dinner at her favorite restaurant, one for breakfast in bed....and so on. the more personal and thoughtful the better. It will show you really know her and you took the time to think about all the things she loves.

Jewelry (depending on her tastes) i would get her a white gold or platinum necklace with diamonds or her birthstone.. something in that department. Necklaces are the safest way to go. rings could be too big or too small. However, if you can get ahold of one of her rings without her noticing then you could use that to get the right size. Don't get anything too big. It's safe to stick with something sleek, simple, and noticeable that could be worn during the day or night. And if you can really afford it get a jewelry set. Also, you can get something inscribed on the inside of the ring - this is the best and safest way to go imo

Get her hair done at an expensive high end salon or spa.

If you know what kind of perfume she uses get her a perfume set from the beauty counter at the department store. These usually come with makeup bags or whatever if you buy the lotion, bath gel and perfume set. Check the counter out you will find something. if she likes wearing makeup buy her a MAC makeup set.

luxury indoor water wall or fountain (these are awesome very expensive!)

Find out her favorite tv show and buy the dvd set

Gift card for her favorite department store or where ever (impersonal but safe)

12 days of Christmas - one gift each of the 11 days before Christmas. I put together a package like this for a gentleman such as yourself and he said it was the BEST Christmas he EVER had. He is still talking about it and that was 10 years ago now!! Pick her favourite things, music, candy, fragrance, wine, snack, flowers, etc., etc. the package I made up included lingerie and tickets to an overnight stay at a dinner theatre location. Include a gift card with each gift and place it or deliver it to a different location and time each day. She will eat this up!! Her girlfriends will be GREEN with envy. And you, my friend will be SMILIN' LARGE for a long, long, long time. The sky's the limit here!!

ok well first the easy answer would be diamonds of any kind now if you dont want that maybe a day at the spa along with the hair and the nails or you could get some perfume bath sets along with that or you could plan a weekend getaway for the two of you to some where romantic

Try going to Victoria's Secret. They have an absolutely wonderful line of bath products, my personal favorite is the love spell scent.

Another good gift that I would be astounded at receiving from hubby is a certificate for a pedicure or massage.
