the past 2 days is one of most significant days for any amatuer astronomer since the greatest of all the meteor showers..the GEMINID showers were visible and u can normally expect to see quite a large number of shooting stars in a dark outskirts region. It has no other significance as far as i can see..

This happens several times per year as the earth goes through a debris belt. Middle of August in the northern hemisphere is good for the Perseids meteor shower. There's another one sometime during the year.

It means you saw some meteors from a meteor shower. They come from one area of the sky (called the radiant) are are associated with debris left by comets. Earth travels through these dusty paths left by comets and the debris burns up in the air due to friction.

Bamma say because the past two nights is when the biggest meteor showers of the year happen. Bamma say it might be coincidence though. Bamma find this very strange. Bamma say did you make 7 wishes.
