Having my family all together. As corny as it sounds, when I was younger, and it was Christmas time, I just loved having my family all together. These days, we don't really do that anymore, and every year around Christmas time, I become very nostalgic for the times we had when I was a little girl. Don't get me wrong, I liked getting presents, just like any other kid, but when I look back now - I can remember so many details about my family, and what was going on at the time, but very little about my gifts. I wish everyone would focus more on the family aspect, and less on the material. It seemed like that's how it was when I was younger, and I miss it.

I think it's the closeness of families, and miracles I've seen, or I should say heard about, and saw on tv in the Christmas shows. Material things do make me happy, but those warm fuzzy feelings do too.

Having my family around. My 84 year old Mom and my daughters. Christmas Day is always the busiest day in my house because on that day, "everyone" comes home, relatives and friends. And while gift giving isn't always high on the list, because we didn't always have something to give, we have always known how it is just to sit around and enjoy each other, so as the years have gone on and those that stopped in, the numbers lessen as many made their transition, and then some years the numbers swelled with the new additions, but no matter what has been handed out during the year, this is the get-to-gether of them all, and many, many, photographs to prove it. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Buying the present that brings joy to the person who recieves it, it doesn't matter if it is family for me, although i am spending the first Christmas ever away from my children which is painful, it is the joy of Christs birth and the love that he has allowed me to show other's that means the most.

I would give the world to get the one i love back but i have to acept things as they are. My christmas now is best with my son and mum by my side. Having fellowship with family and friends and spending time with them makes me a happy camper.

The fact that it's a celebration of Jesus. It's his Birthday. Smiling faces, red noses, and the gleeming eyes of those around you.
The feeling of the Holy Spirit and his presence.
Smile and Be Happy.

Christmas is a year-round holiday as we remember that God sent his son Jesus to earth to save us. Happiness is temporary, but the joy of God's love is eternal.
