What are the odds of getting cyberdark dragon in a booster box?

You have better odds buying a hobby box (from a game/card store or specialized seller) than a retail box (from general sellers - if you buy single packs, places like Wal-Mart sell retail packs). The general pattern is for boxes to contain seven holographic cards. There are generally either five Super Rare or four Super Rare and one Ultra Rare in either kind of box, along with two Ultimate Rare cards. In hobby boxes, Ultimate Rare cards are slightly more blingy versions of Super/Ultra Rares, while in retail boxes the Ultimate Rares are holographic versions of Rare cards. In hobby boxes, it's usual for one of the Ultimate Rares to be a duplicate of a Super or Ultra Rare.

I had great good luck when I bought a Rise of Destiny box for my three nephews to share - it had three Ultra Rares, two ultimates and a regular one. The last six boxes I've bought have been evenly divided - two containing two Ultra Rares, two containing one, and two containing none.

Oddly enough, neither of my two boxes of Cyberdark Impact contained any Ultimate Rares at all, though there were seven Super or Ultra Rares in each.

My rough guess would be that in a retail box your chance of getting a particular Ultra Rare would be 1/4 x the overall percentage of boxes containing an Ultra Rare as the fifth U/S non-Ultimate. In a hobby box you would have an additional chance of the Ultimate version of that Ultra Rare in 1/6 of the cases when you didn't pull the non-Ultimate version (1/6 because five of eleven Super or Ultra Rares have already been pulled, one of which will have the duplicating Ultimate, leaving six possible targets for the non-duplicating Ultimate). If my last six boxes were exactly in line with the odds, for instance, then that would be 2/3 x 1/4, or 1/6 chance of pulling the regular Ultra Rare, plus another 1/6 of the other 5/6 of the time, providing a total of finding a particular Ultra Rare in a hobby box 11 of 36 times. I suspect the real figure is rather lower, as I rather doubt that 2/3 of boxes contain an Ultra Rare, and my guess is that non-duplicating Ultimate versions of Ultra Rares are less common than those of Super Rares, as I have seen fewer of them over a long period of time, when there should be more of them if it were random.

Read the back of the package on the booster it list the possiblities for rares
The set contains 4 Ultra Rares, 7 Super Rares, 14 Rares, and 35 Commons, for a total of 60 cards. Every Ultra, Super, and Rare card has an Ultimate Rare version.
1 rare is in each pack so a 1 in 25 chance. But not all rares have the same rareity so your odd go down. It may be cheaper to buy it out right or by a box.

There are no guaranteed ratios. It says so right on every pack. Usually there are about 2 Ultra rares per box of cards. Since there are 4 Ultra rare cards and you can get the same 2 Ultra rares in one box I'd say your chances of pulling a Cyberdark Dragon are slim. It would be cheaper just to buy one.

1:24 mostly luck i bought just one cyberdark impact and

try getting the packs out of a special edition set and you'll problably find it there

Well since he's an Ultra and there are 4 Ultras out of a 60 card set and 9 cards per pack and 24 packs in a box, I'd say about a 40% chance of drawing one.

one out of 96 packs (it says your chances on the back of the booster pack).or if you're incredibly lucky like me, you get get it from your first booster pack like i got chimeratech overdragon from power of the duelist. i also think you should go for chimeratech instead of cyberdark dragon because cyberdark dragon just tends to be a card to look at.
