Since then my internet is slower, any info?

lots of times cable and dsl providers change your ip address from time to time. but i doubt that could be what is slowing down your computer. it could be adware/spyware, a virus, or any other type of malware, especially if it's a windows machine.

Your IP Address is Dynamic and does change from time to time. Usually when you restart your computer or Cable/DSL Modem. It would be really strange that your IP Address changing made your Connection Slower. If you really want it to change again, disconnect your Cable/DSL Modem a few times.

That can happen. IP addresses leased over the network. Just means that the address server is set up so that the address is Dynamic and as such changes Read the following article.

You got a dynamic ip from your ISP. Some ISP charge more for static ip. Do defragment your system & clean using an anti virus & sypware. Hope it will help you to get more speed
