Please no answers with buy a toy by the age. Anyway, I have a seven month old son and want to buy him a fun toy that costs about $30.00 dollars.

truthfully, your baby will like the paper scattered on the floor more then most toys.
But, look for toys that are soft, colorful, and make sounds. These types of toys work on their senses, which is most important to a 0-1 year old. Merry Christmas!

New babys grow so quickly, you can buy a gift older than his age becuase this first year goes so quickly. A great gift for little ones are those lay on the floor gym things. or Things that fit on the crib for baby to look at and to kick as they get older.

The soft tonka trucks ar nice. And the crawling disney babies are so fun to watch them watch. there are also the little cloth like book that have pages and corners with different colors,sounds and textures.

Definetely your first choice should be Walmart... I bought my son a few toys there for under $15....

try buying him a musical hanging toy which can be hanged on the cradle. or even glowing stickers which can be sticked on surrounding walls.
