Why won't more ask if they are being logical and fair?

Mostly, I think it's because of pride and reputation. I often think I am right and have no reasoning behind it except the fact that I know it's true. To be told you were wrong is incredibly hard to stand.

i have criticized my own beliefs, and in doing so, i have found that my beliefs are the only logical and fair ones! i'm christian, and the more i study the bible and talk to god, and then see all the things god does for me and other people every day, the more logical christianity seems to me.

Because they might see the flaws and finally have their eyes opened. People like having a relationship with their god however false he may be. It makes them feel protected and special.

i know imm not logical, for sure i am not fair, and only criticize others before myself.

Because it would point out flaws within themselves and many cant face that. I dont care either way, far from perfect and know it.
