I had this pink brownish discharge like about a week ago, i'm not supposed to start my period until the 23rd..

what could this mean?..I also had at times sharp pains on different parts of my abdomen.....

Sounds like you may have had some spotting and cramping around when you ovulated, which happens 2 weeks before your period, so the timing is right. Some women will spot and have cramps when they ovulate, its not that uncommon. Its too early to be implantation bleeding. See your doc if your concerned about it.

Any number of things, but if there is no chance that you are PG or you just started BC it could be breakthrough bleeding and nothing to worry about.
See your OB/GYN just to be sure if you are very worried.
