My girl friend likes to read novel books. I want to give her a book as the holiday gift. Which one is the best

if you don't know what book she likes, get her a gift card to her fav book store place. that's always a better idea.

Gift certs are always something to fall back on. It would be good to find the authors she likes, books she's read, books she wants to read, what her style is. Looks like you should do a little more research and then ask Yahoo! Answers again.

If she already has a lot of books, you could also maybe get her a gift that is related to book reading. Something like nice bookcase, reading lamp, or maybe something similar to those would work. If you get a gift card for a place like Amazon, you could also get a nice bookmark to go along with it. Hope this helps, and I hope you find a gift that will delight her. :)

Ask her what books are on her wish list.
Even knowing her favorite authors doesn’t prevent the problem of getting her books that she’s already read/owns. That's happened to me many times.

get her some famous novels she hasnt read or a novel she likes but hasn't read or a novel by her favorite author like sir Arthur Conan Doyle or the Bronte sisters

This is an impossible question to answer. I'm a girl and while I like Doyle, it would suck to get a Bronte book. Think about what kind of girl she is, what kind of movies she likes... and then go to Amazon.com and see what's on their lists.

If she loves love stories or romance..i recommend Nicholas Sparks..any book of his is amazing.
